Updated rules as of January 12th, 2011

Greetings to all guild members of Legion of Solstice, and to those of you who are either new to the guild (By the way, Welcome =D ), or would like to join. Please get yourself acquainted with said rules for the Guild/Forums.
Rules in red are updated ones. Text in blue is the reason as to why those rules have been added.
1.) We ask that people who join LoS to be their main characters. This means:
---------1.a) Not currently in any other guild, besides the Guild's alternate guild (This is for spare/alternate characters). This may possibly be debate-able, ask Cory/Neil/Maggy (Guild Leaders) for confirmation. This is to avoid fighting each other in WoE.
---------1.b) Whatever is said in the Guild, stays in the Guild. Also known as: We do not welcome spies. This goes without saying.
2.) The main language in this Guild in English. We accept people of all languages, however, please refrain from speaking other languages in the guild chat. This rule also applies to those of you using the Ventrilo channel as well.
3.) The guild accepts members who are extremely active.
---------3.a) By definition of active: Online either daily, or as close to daily as possible.
---------3.b) If there are situations where you will be away for awhile, either let one of the people who have expelling rights in the guild know, or make a thread in the forums notifying us of your absence. This leads us to the next rule...
4.) Expulsions; Guild members will be expelled:
---------4.a) If you piss the Guild Leaders off, obviously.
---------4.b) If you irritate other Guildies. Example: If we get complaints from others. Such behaviour is not desired and extremely rude. If any 'Leaders' hear of this, we will look further into the matter.
---------4.c) The leaders will try to adhere to the '3-strikes-and-your-out' rule. This means 3 warnings. However, it is up to the expeller's decision due to the circumstance(s) of the situation. Example: If it is found out that you are just in the guild to take items from guild storage, you will be expelled. No questions asked, and non-negotiable.
5.) This is not strictly enforced, but try to keep language used PG-13. There are younger players in the guild, so we ask of you to please respect this fact.
---------5.a) In addition to this rule with concerning the forums: Try to keep things PG-13 as well.
6.) Refrain from spamming the guild chat. This includes B>, S>,T>, or any other variations, however, it is alright as long as it is NOT SPAMMED (and annoying other guildies).
---------6.a) Refrain from using any derogatory comments in the guild chat.
7.) Duel-charactering: Space is limited however a second MAIN character will be allowed into the Guild.
---------7.a) If you have any alternate characters (that are not your main character), they are welcome into an alternative guild.
---------7.b) Concerning the alternate guilds, you may have as many characters in there, as long as they are relatively active. However, it will start becoming ridiculous if each person has 5+ characters in the spare guild, enough said. ;D
---------7.c) Privileges will be allowed upon certain guild members who are either: most active, contributing to the guild, or extremely dedicated to the guild. This is to be decided under the current guild leader's authority.
8.) Joining the Guild also means joining the forum. It is your responsibility to keep yourself updated on the forums.
9.) Do not ruin the Guild reputation.
---------9.a) This means to not act like an idiot in parties or in public that will ruin the Guild. You are not only making a spectacle of yourself and looking bad, you are also giving others a bad impression of the Guild and making all of its members look bad.
10.) Do not care who it is, but if I see/hear of someone overkill-insulting a fellow Guildie with profane language (example: constantly calling them a slut, whore, etc.) even if they are not present to hear of it themselves.
---------10.a) Not strictly enforcing this rule, however (use your common sense here...)do not overdo it. Once or twice is already enough said. However, learn how to keep yourself in line. You have been warned concerning this.
11.) Follow all rules above. Devote yourself to these rules. And accepting all rules said above.
12.) Enjoy your time in the guild. =)
13.) And the Guild Leaders (Cory/Neil/Maggy) are the absolute power/authority in this guild. Which means, they are not bound by any of these rules.

If there are any rules you would like revised, edited, removed, added into this post, or if you have any questions concerning said rules... Please feel free to give me a PM, message me in game, or post in the 'Guild Rules Discussion' thread, or whatever/whichever way you have of contacting me. There will be open discussion allowed there, but please refrain from making irrelevant rules. Example: 14.) Follow my every order because I'm cool.
